Logistics Financial Analyst | Elk Grove, Illinois | Salary: Up to $80,000

This hybrid role will support financial planning, reporting, and analysis functions critical to the success of the global operations. The candidate must have experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry and be proficient in CargoWise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Monitor operational costs, margins, and profitability across international shipments
• Collaborate with operations, accounting, and leadership teams to improve financial performance
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity within CargoWise and other financial systems
• Support process improvements and automation initiatives within financial workflows
• Assist with audits and compliance reporting as needed

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis within logistics or freight forwarding
• Required: Hands-on experience with CargoWise
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
