Job Description

Title: Personal Protection Officer/Executive Protection

Location: On-site in Houston, TX (with frequent travel). If not local, must be willing to relocate.

Employment Type: Full-Time with 24/7 availability during scheduled working days.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced PPO to provide comprehensive security services for a Houston-based client with extensive travel opportunities. The ideal candidate is a "quiet professional" whose core values are trust, integrity, and discretion. Must have the soft skills needed for both corporate and private settings. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Close Protection: Provide physical security for the client during daily commutes, public appearances, and both domestic and international travel.
  • Advance Operations: Conduct thorough advances, either domestic, international, or digital. Coordinate with local fixers, embassy security, and emergency services as needed to ensure safe passage and secure environments abroad.
  • Threat Assessment: Continuously monitor and analyze potential risks to the client’s safety, reputation, and privacy.
  • Emergency Response: Execute immediate medical or tactical response protocols in the event of an incident or medical emergency.
  • Planning and Logistics : Able to plan and organize large events and trips, taking into account all logistical requirements.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Texas Level IV PPO License: Have or be eligible to be licensed in accordance with Texas DPS regulations.
  • International Experience: Extensive experience conducting protective operations outside the United States, not exclusive to high-risk environments.
  • Specialized Training: Show training and knowledge in various fields and abilities to include: EMT/Paramedic, OSINT, Red-Team, TSCM, Use of Force, WZ, martial arts disciplines, etc.
  • Driving: Completion of a recognized Security Driving course.
  • Travel Readiness: Valid U.S. Passport and the ability to travel at a moment’s notice for extended periods.

Professional Requirements

  • Be physically able to perform the job as required.
  • CPR and BLS/First Aid Certification with the willingness to complete additional basic medical training.
  • The ability to blend into various social environments (from corporate boardrooms to family functions to remote travel).
  • Ability to pass a background check.
