Position Title: Plant Utilities Supervisor
Location: 1515 Nicholas Rd, Dayton, OH 45417
Shift Hours - 07:00 AM-03:30 PM EST, M-F
Overview:
Seeking a hands-on Plant Utilities Supervisor to oversee the operation and maintenance of critical plant utility systems, including chillers, steam systems, and compressed air. This role combines technical expertise with team leadership in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead O&M activities for chiller systems, steam systems, and air compressors
• Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical systems (pumps, piping, glycol systems)
• Support BAS/BMS/SCADA monitoring and system optimization
• Supervise maintenance technicians and coordinate daily operations
• Ensure safety compliance, LOTO practices, and proper documentation
• Plan shutdowns, outages, and support commissioning activities
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years in industrial maintenance, utilities, or HVAC
• Strong experience with chillers, steam systems, and mechanical equipment
• Team leadership experience in industrial settings
• Knowledge of BAS/BMS or control systems
• EPA Section 608 Certification
Preferred:
• Experience with plant outages/commissioning
• Boiler/pressure vessel certification
• PLC (e.g., Allen-Bradley) and SCADA/HMI exposure
