We are looking for a skilled HCX Migration Engineer to support the seamless migration of virtual workloads across hybrid cloud environments using VMware HCX. The ideal candidate should have experience with data center migration, vSphere environments, and hybrid cloud infrastructure, along with a strong understanding of VMware technologies.
Key Responsibilities:3 5 years (minimum 1 2 years hands-on with HCX)
Required Skills:2+ years strong hands-on experience with VMware HCX, vSphere, vCenter, ESXi. Familiarity with networking concepts: VPN, IPsec, VLAN, NSX, firewalls. 3-5 years experience in data center migrations, infrastructure transformation, and workload planning. Knowledge of storage and replication technologies is a plus. Good understanding of disaster recovery and BCDR strategies. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:VMware certifications such as VCP, VCAP, or HCX Master Specialist. Experience with automation tools (PowerCLI, Ansible, Terraform) is a bonus. Previous involvement in enterprise-scale migration projects.
